Industrial Designer & Woodworker
About Me
I’m passionate about the longevity of products and timeless design. I’m especially interested in how we can successfully bring these previously cherished values back into the modern market.

My Story
From a young age design was already a daily consideration in my life. By age four, I was already asking my parents questions like, "Why is there an arrow on that FedEx truck?" With roots in woodworking starting in my basement at 10 years old, I was always making something or considering how products could be improved. A well designed product or interface grew as a passion of mine, leading to my attendance of Rochester Institute of Technology––earning my degree in Industrial Design with a focus on Furniture Making and Materials and Processes.
My Values
Make it durable. If it won't last it's not worth it.
Respect. For our planet and my co-workers.
Prioritize. The right order and time = success.
Collaborate. Big things can’t be done alone.
Research. Knowing your user is essential.
Detail. A focus on details that all work toward
a similar goal.
My Belief
I believe in quality, long-lasting design that can be appreciated for generations to come. I strive for designs I create to be wage a war against planned obsolescence, while offering a fresh outlook on classic values.
Skills
Furniture Design
Furniture design and woodworking have been a longtime passion of mine. I love the whole process from ideation and inspiration to modeling and fabrication. I am a strong believer in paying attention to the small details throughout while ensuring they all align with the overall aesthetic of the piece.
Soft Goods
Soft goods design poses unique challenges different from that of hard goods. For this reason repeated prototyping and having an in depth understanding the material you are working with is essential.
Web Design
A website is a direct line of communication between consumer and business. Good web design should strike up an engaging and intuitive conversation with a customer, educating them on product features, specs and brand identity.

Packaging Design
Many products need packaging. In the retail market, the quality of the packaging can be just as important as that of the product itself. Good packaging is eco-friendly, builds brand loyalty, and meshes seamlessly with the product it encloses.
Branding
A brand's look and identity should reflect the value its products bring the user. Building trust and loyalty, while bringing a visually exciting atmosphere, is essential as branded material is often the main platform for communication between a company and its users.
Model Making
I'm a strong believer in modeling a design after or as a part of initial ideation. Models help me to work out small three dimensional details that can get overlooked on paper.
